Chelsea Walls Gallery is pleased to present “To Everything,” a solo exhibition of works by Brooklyn-based artist Joseph Olisaemeka Wilson produced by Aidan Bartholomew. Each executed in one sitting at their conception, “To Everything,” presents a selection of 42 works on paper spanning the last five years, capturing Joseph’s practice at its most immediate. 

While the artist’s previous shows have focused on painted canvases (3 of which are included in the show), the idea to feature these works came one summer evening while leafing through 500 or so of his drawings. What emerged were frames from a rich collection of stories, some whimsical, some poignant, some ironic. To Everything…

Joseph Olisaemeka Wilson is a Los Angeles-born visual artist based in Brooklyn. His work has been exhibited in New York, LA, London, Taipei, and Tokyo.
